When you sign up for our weed control program, we will visit your property multiple times throughout the year to apply our weed control treatments. When visiting your property, we will utilize either pre-emergent or post-emergent weed control treatments to combat the weeds on your property. What’s more, this program also includes lawn fertilization treatments, as well as a grub control treatment, to help keep your lawn healthy and looking its best throughout the year. Here’s what our weed control schedule looks like:
Visit 1 (Mid-March – Mid-April) – During our first visit of the year, we will apply a pre-emergent weed control treatment to your lawn to help prevent weeds from sprouting. We will also fertilize your lawn to give it the nutrients it needs to start the spring season on the right foot.
Visit 2 (April – Early May) – During this visit, we will apply our first post-emergent weed control treatment to eliminate any existing weeds on your lawn. We will also apply another fertilization treatment to resupply your lawn with nutrients.
Visit 3 (End of May – June) – During our third visit, we will apply another round of post-emergent weed control treatment to your lawn to tackle any existing weeds.
Visit 4 (July) – Our fourth visit consists of a fertilization treatment to supply your lawn with the nutrients it will need to make it through the summer season. We will also apply a grub control treatment to your lawn to help prevent these root-munching pests from destroying your lawn.
Visit 5 (August) – This visit consists of another application of post-emergent weed control.
Visit 6 (September – Early October) – During this visit, we will apply our last post-emergent weed control treatment of the year as well as another fertilization treatment.
Visit 7 (End of October – November) – During our last visit of the year, we will apply a winterization treatment to your lawn that is high in nitrogen to help your grass make it through the winter season.
